ENGLISH LRC:

Hello! Welcome to English 2!  Your Sophomore English class may be the most important class to help you on the path to a successful high school experience and help you to achieve your future goals. In order for us to accomplish this, we must strictly follow the game plan below:

Being prepared, organization, and following directions are your keys to doing well in class. You will need:

1. Notebook, every day in class.
2. Inexpensive journal- We will be writing approximately 20 journal topics a marking period. The “marble” book type is very durable and will last the entire year.
3. Vocabulary and Literature book.
4. Pen or pencil.

If you are not prepared for class points will be deducted from your grade. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Rules:

1. Be on time and in your seat with the day’s work ready to start.
2. Respect the teacher and your classmates. Raise your hand; do not speak when others are talking (Unless group activities are taking place).
3. If you are absent or know you will not be in class you need to find out what work you are missing. You have two days to make it up.
   

Quizzes and tests need to be made up within a week after school. Make arrangements with me as soon as possible.
