Welcome to Alder Avenue Middle School Instrumental Music! We're happy to have you with us!
We have lessons taught on an every other day basis. Students will be taking lessons, learning rhythms, reading, and history during their time in class. There will be playing tests and assignment submissions due through Google Classroom, which can be accessed at:

Students are expected to practice outside of class, as well as submit playing tests and participate in their respective ensembles. Those ensembles are:
String Ensemble- conducted by Ms. Jenna DiSalvio, made up of all string players in Alder Avenue
Symphony Orchestra- conducted by Ms. Jenna DiSalvio, made up of select string players and select wind/percussion players (auditioned group)
Concert Band- conducted by Mrs. Dawn Donchey, made up of all wind and percussion students in Alder Avenue
Wind Ensemble- conducted by Mrs. Dawn Donchey, made up of select wind and percussion students (auditioned group)
Drumline- conducted by Mrs. Dawn Donchey, made up of interested percussion students
